KarposTM I and KarposTM II

  • Once KarposTM is located at the workplace, there is no time wasted assembling the equipment. KarposTM was designed to be ready to work in less than two hours. Both KarposTM I and KarposTM II require 480 Volts, 50/60 cycles power.

  • Because of high flow rates, KarposTM can increase Reynolds number by achieving flushing tactics like High Turbulence, High Fluid Velocity and Low Oil Velocity.

  • KarposTM can change flow direction in a matter of seconds. By quickly changing fluid flow direction, some contaminants and surface deposits are exposed to bending fatigue reversals, helping to dislodge them.

  • KarposTM has a heater that can deliver 100,000 BTU/hour to the lube oil. Temperatures up to 250 F can be reached for a Hot Oil Flush procedure. This strategy also reduces viscosity, increases turbulence, and increases oil solvency, all to aid in the scrubbing of tenacious deposits.

  • KarposTM has the ability to combine one or more strategies described above at the same time, at any time. The flushing process is more effective without wasting time or manpower on frequent interruptions to the operation.

  • The KarposTM filtering system is designed to filter out particles larger down to ONE micron, even when running at maximum filtration rate.

  • KarposTM can be nitrogen dried at 0 F dew point in preparation for lube oil flushing
